David Nelson is a widely experienced, professional and passionate franchising entrepreneur who has worked with franchisors (domestic and commercial) business-to-business and business to consumer sectors for almost two decades. His wide-ranging expertise includes an all-round perspective of starting, running and developing franchises in virtually any industry. He has recruited and assisted 160+ franchisees and been instrumental in their mentoring/training, ensuring that they commenced trading feeling confident with an embedded appetite for success. In addition to this he has had personal experience of setting up and managing a successful franchise operation.
David is also co-founder and Consulting Practitioner of the not for profit Business Clinic Organisation CIC. Within this, he and his business partner guide, advise and mentor small and large local companies through the use of peer-working on how to achieve healthier profits, in an independent and thought-provoking way. Many of those that have attended these sessions have come away feeling more positive and ready to implement the new ideas shared and discussed with other like-minded peers.
David has also been involved in the establishing of a specialised training organisation providing bespoke sales, presentation and management training for non-sales professionals, becoming involved in a great deal of the course provision allowing the honing of presentation, mentoring and training skills.
Despite being immersed in his passion for helping organisations be successful, he ensures he has down time to maintain his mental health, which is also part of a profitable business. He enjoys relaxing at home, reading, running, cooking and socialising with friends.
